Rice cooker shell material selection:
ABS material: ABS has good comprehensive performance and processing performance, but the cost is relatively high. It is usually used to make rice cooker shells, but due to cost pressure, modified PP is now mainly used to replace ABS.ABS material also has good impact resistance and processing performance, but may be insufficient in high temperature resistance.
Modified PP (polypropylene): Modified PP is a polypropylene material that has been improved through the addition of mineral-enhanced toughening, weathering modification, glass fibre reinforcement, flame-retardant modification and super-toughness modification. It has the advantages of low cost, light weight and good performance, and can be improved by mineral filling methods to improve shrinkage, heat resistance and surface gloss.
PC/ABS alloy: This material combines the advantages of polycarbonate (PC) and ABS with higher heat resistance, high strength and dimensional stability. It is suitable for rice cooker shells that require high heat resistance and strength.
